We are very excited to share our ideas and work with you and keep you up-to-date on what we have been doing in class.
Last week, Origami Yoda landed in our classrooms with a 'bang!' We are reading the book, 'The Strange Case of Origami Yoda', as part of our literacy lessons and doing lots of work based on the humorous, and often embarrassing stories that unfold within it.
Both Venus and Mars classes mastered the art of Origami (folding paper) to make their own Origami Yodas. You may have already seen 'Emergency Yoda' turn up in your homes last week! Some may have even been inundated with Origami Yodas, as well as numerous other characters from Tom Angleberger's series.
They also wrote their own instructions for making an Origami Yoda, with pictures, for any other budding Origami masters.
We're sure there'll be lots of other Origami delights to share with you over the course of the summer term!
